After studying with Aurele Nicolet and Hans-Martin Linde, Konrad Hünteler was the first flute of the Cape Town Orchestra. He has played with the Academy of Ancient Music, the English Concert, the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, the Collegium Aureum and the Coloniensis Chapel; he was also the first flute of the London Classical Players and the Franz Bruggen Orchestra. Hünteler is the artistic director of two ancient music festivals in Westphalia, the Barockfest Munster and Munsterland and the Musik an Westflischen Adelshoefen. He is a flute teacher at the Hochschule fru Musik in Munster.
