Mario Caroli
At the age of 22 he won the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis in Darmastadt and thus began an important solo career. He has played in the most important cinemas in the world, from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to the Philharmonie in Berlin, from the Lincoln Center in New York to the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, from the Konzerthaus in Vienna to the Royal Festival Hall in London, in recital or solo with the main orchestras from all over Europe, the United States and Japan. Interpreter much loved by international critics, which has not spared the highest praise, has recorded about 25 CDs, awarded worldwide. He teaches flute in the upper cycles of the Strasbourg Conservatory and holds master classes in the most important musical institutions.
