Maurizio Bignardelli

Maurizio Bignardelli began studying the flute at a very young age, graduating with honors at only twenty years at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.
Winner of the National Young Concertists selection (Rome 1983), of the "Opera Barga" Competition (Lucca 1984), selected at the "Jean Pierre Rampal" International Flute Competition (Paris 1983), he begins a brilliant soloist and chamber music career at Associations, Concerts, International Festivals in Italy and abroad (Friends of the music "Giuseppe Verdi" Busseto (Parma), Festivals of Taormina, Strasbourg, Hanover, Camerata Musicale Bari, Accademia Filarmonica Messina, Concerts Station "Anton Dohrn" of Naples, Friends of the Music Catanzaro, Centro Reggino Classical Music, Society of the Conservatory Metz, Innsbruck, Schubert Saal Vienna). Winner of competitions and auditions for orchestral roles, he has collaborated for more than a decade as an orchestra conductor with the RAI Symphonic Orchestras, the National Orchestra of Santa Cecilia, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, and the Cagliari Opera House. under the guidance of distinguished directors. As a soloist he performed accompanied by the symphonic orchestras of Mexico City and Guadalajara with programs by Italian authors (Vivaldi, Mercadante) reproposing rare repertoires (such as the "Gran Concerto for flute and military band", Op. 63 by Emanuele Krakamp (Messina 1813-Naples 1883) recorded in the premiere of the Week of Musical Heritage sponsored by the State Disco along with the Great Band of the Guardia di Finanza directed by Don Pablo Colino, has recorded numerous recitals for Vatican Radio.
Graduated in 1985 in Musicology at the University of Bologna, he published over a hundred reviews of rare authors of the eighteenth and eight hundred Italian and European, for famous music publishing houses (Zimmermann of Frankfurt, Ut Orpheus of Bologna, Flatus of Sion, Bèrben di Ancona). As a musicologist he has collaborated with RAI for numerous radio broadcasts of musicological character (Bicentenary of the French Revolution). He was invited as a soloist in the context of the "Flautissimo" International Flautist Festival (editions 1993, 1995, 1999, 2005).
